Multi-Gem Jewelry

Multi-Gem Jewelry

Have you ever seen colorful multi-stone jewelries? When the rainbow color comes with rings and bracelets, it will be the luxury. Today, I will share you guys such colorful jewelries.
When I think of multi-gem jewelry, I come up with Navaratna ring, which is cultural and also religious ring from India and Nepal. Navaratna ring consists of ancient 9 gemstones as Navaratna means 9 gems in Sanskrit (Hindi language). 9 gems are ruby, pearl, red coral, emerald, yellow sapphire, diamond, blue sapphire, hessonite, and cats eye, which represent the Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, ascending lunar nodes, and descending lunar nodes in order in the astronomic. There is saying that if you keep wearing this Navaratna jewelry, you will have a good luck because of the power of natural stone and planet. There are many designs for Navaratna rings, bracelets, necklaces, and for both women and men.

While Navaratna jewelry includes the cultural and religious background behind it, we can find multi-gemstone designed jewelry. For example, in that famous Cartier Love bracelet collection.

Many people are wearing yellow gold Love bracelet or yellow gold with diamond Love bracelet especially popular among celebrities, but we cannot forget this multi gemstone Love bracelet. It consists of 18k rosegold, 2 pink sapphire, 2 yellow sapphire, 2 green garnet, 2 orange garnet, and 2 amethysts.

Especially, green and orange garnet are very rare in the market. Green garnet is called Tsavorite, which is found at Tsavo National Park, Kenya in 1968 for the first time. The green color of Tsavorite comes from Vanadium and Chromium as same as Emerald. Also, its inflectional rate is 1.74, which is close to sapphire’s, and its hardness is 7 as well as quartz. Therefore, Tsavorite has excellent as a gemstone. 1 carat of Tsavorite worth $1,500 with gem quality. Since it is new, Tsavorite is not well known, but it will be more and more popular in the future.

Also, orange garnet is called mandarin garnet, which is yielded from Namibia, Africa, and started to appear in the market from 1992. It is also very rare and has a beautiful color like oranges. Amethyst’s stone meaning is love and compassion. It is a February birthstone. Its hardness is 7, and has excellent durability. Amethyst is yielded from mainly Brazil, but also Zambia, and Uruguay with very high quality, so it is easier to get than other gemstones. 1 carat size Amethyst worth $50 with gem quality.

Yellow and pink sapphire are also rare next to green and orange garnet since reddish sapphire accounts for just 15%, and yellow and orange sapphire accounts for 25% and the rest is blue from Sri Lanka.

As I mentioned below, multi-gemstone jewelry is the best luxury, for not only colorful but also meaningful and collection of high quality gemstones.
